Amy Steinwald
Amy is an experienced bodywork and movement professional with two decades of expertise in the health and wellness field. She is a trained classical ballet and modern dancer.
Amy holds a bachelor's degree in Dance Movement Therapy from Barat College, Lake Forest, IL. She received her Therapeutic Massage education from The Cortiva Institute in Chicago. She is also a Pilates Method Alliance certified instructor, and focuses on Therapeutic applications with her one on one clients. In addition, Amy is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor- 500 hour.
Her diverse skill set includes hands-on modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release & Cupping Therapy. Amy is also an Integrated Movement Specialist trained through Integrative Movement Institute in Chicago, IL. Her corrective exercise coaching focuses on assessing the root cause of an individual's pain and/or dysfunction, addressing alignment, posture, and movement patterns that create compensation patterns and then progressing clients towards learning and utilizing movement strategies in activities of daily living. Amy also focuses on improving breathing patterns, proprioception, body awareness and improving balance. Her holistic approach to wellness integrates her extensive knowledge and certifications to provide comprehensive care to her clients.
